Creative Operations Executive
& Business Process Architect
Great creative work doesn't survive without great systems behind it.
I'm a Creative Director and Operations leader who has spent the last 12+ years learning the same lesson from every angle: strong creative work depends on strong systems behind it.
I started in film, working as a director, producer, colorist, editor, and post-production supervisor across documentary features, childrenโs animation, DTC ad campaigns, and YouTube content. That range taught me to think in systems, not just outputs.
Over time, I kept seeing the same pattern: talented teams limited by unclear processes, weak accountability, and fragile operations. So I began building better ones.
Throughout my career, Iโve led cross-functional teams of writers, designers, animators, editors, marketers, and developers across film, digital, and commercial work. I later founded a content agency, scaled it to 20+ people, and led it through a successful acquisition, overseeing creative direction, delivery, team building, and operational systems, aligning craft with structure so quality and speed could coexist.
Now I focus on building creative organizations that perform at a high level without burning out the people inside them.
What I built
At ProArt Films, I took over as Managing Director and redesigned the entire post-production workflow for our biggest client, automating processes, improving turnaround times, and overseeing ~$300K in annual production operations.
For Viacom, I supervised post-production on "16 & Recovering," organizing the workflow for 200+ days of footage. The series went on to win the RFK Journalism Award in 2021.
At Driver Studios, I managed simultaneous projects and remote teams, overseeing pre-production and post-production pipelines and budgets across multiple productions.
Then I built my own. I founded a content creation agency, scaled it from 4 to 20 employees across LATAM, grew it from $0 to $120K in revenue in year one, served 300+ clients, and led it through a successful acquisition at full asking price. I was retained as COO for a year after the sale.
For me, creative leadership and operational leadership aren't two different jobs. They're the same job done at different altitudes.
What guides my work
Systems should serve people
I've automated hundreds of hours of manual work using tools like Zapier, Python scripts, and ClickUp. Iโm not afraid to play with webhooks, APIs, and N8N. I love automation, and I'd always rather have my team spend their time on work that matters.
Craft doesn't scale by accident
Scaling a team from 4 to 20+ creatives across 18 countries taught me that quality holds up only when you design the systems to protect it. Culture, SOPs, feedback loops, clear communications and aligned expectations aren't overhead; they're the product.
Skepticism is an asset
I don't chase trends nor fads. I evaluate them and analyze against hard data. I test, review, adjust, and iterate. In a room full of hype, the person asking "does this actually work?" is usually the most valuable one there for me.
